Air Fryer Pork Chop Bites
Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook in batches for even browning. Shake the basket halfway through cooking for crisp, even results. Optional sweetness: add the brown sugar for light caramelization; omit for lower carbs. No Montreal seasoning? Mix garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, paprika, and a pinch of salt as a substitute. Use boneless chops for best results; if using bone-in, remove meat from the bone and cut into bite-sized pieces. Cook to a safe internal temperature of at least 145°F (63°C) and rest briefly. Storage: Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat: Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes to re-crisp. Spicy variation: add cayenne, red pepper flakes, or a splash of hot sauce to the seasoning mix. Preheating the air fryer helps achieve a crisper exterior.
