Air Fryer Salmon

Air Fryer Salmon

For best texture, pat the fish very dry before seasoning so the surface crisps in the air fryer. Cook time varies with thickness: start checking at 8 minutes. The fish should flake easily; USDA recommends 145°F (63°C) internal temperature. Avoid overcrowding the basket so hot air can circulate around the fillets. Substitutions: avocado oil in place of olive oil; adjust cayenne to taste; swap lemon with lime; use smoked paprika for a smokier flavor. Serving ideas from the recipe: pair with rice, steamed vegetables, or a fresh salad. Storage: refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 3–4 minutes. Freeze up to 2 months; thaw overnight before reheating.
