Ingredients

  • Fresh pineapple
  • Butter
  • Brown sugar
  • Vanilla extract
  • Ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and clean/oil the grates.
  2. Peel, core, and slice the pineapple into rings or spears.
  3. In a small bowl, combine butter, vanilla extract, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon, stirring to make a brushable mixture.
  4. Brush the pineapple pieces on all sides with the brown sugar–butter mixture.
  5. Grill the pineapple for 2–4 minutes per side, until lightly charred and caramelized.
  6. Serve warm as a side or dessert.
